Nuno Godinho is the General Manager for Software, Europe / SW CTO, Europe working for GE Healthcare. In this role he oversees all software development done in Europe in the Healthcare area, mainly focusing on the Cloud and Industrial Internet. Part of the creators of GE Health Cloud concept spends a lot of his time working on creating this new Cloud offering for the Healthcare industry which will enable more and quicker innovation.

 

 

 

Miguel Cabrer is CEO and Founder of MEDTING and VP of eHealth Innovation at Best Doctors. Miguel has a Computer Science degree specialized in Health IT and eHealth initiatives. Formerly, Miguel Cabrer was the CIO of Hospital Son Llatzer (2001-2007) that was recognised as Digital Hospital with the prestigious eEurope for Awards eHealth 2004. Miguel was also the eHealth Coordinator of Balearic Islands Health Service. Member of the HIMSS EMEA Governing Council since 2007 until 2012 and Member of IMIA Web 2.0 taskforce workgroup defining a Strategic Plan view to 2015.

Stephan Schug acts as Chief Medical Officer of EHTEL and has a long track record in European eHealth, mHealth and telemedicine with a focus on interoperability and innovation. Since 2000, he supports the strategic development of the EHTEL multi-stakeholder platform by e.g. managing the agenda of the yearly EHTEL symposium, acting as Editor-in-Chief of the website, newsletters and various publications as well as supporting the joint EHTELconnect activities with national/regional governments and eHealth Competence Centres. As nominated representative to the EU eHealth Stakeholder Group (eHSG) he led in 2012 – 2014 the preparation of the eHSG Recommendations on Telemedicine in the framework of the Digital Agenda for Europe. Stephan is or has been involved into strategic European telehealth projects like United4Health, RENEWING HeALTH and MOMENTUM. Over 15 years, he is engaged in key actions and projects preparing the ground for interoperable cross-border eHealth services like JAseHN, eHealth Governance Initiative (eHGI), Antilope, CALLIOPE, SUSTAINS and many others. Via eHGI, JAseHN and the EHTEL ELO Network, Stephan maintains links to EXPAND and the further preparation of the eHealth Digital Services Infrastructures under the Connecting for Europe Facility.

 

Frank Lievens Back in 1999, got interested in Telemedicine via Home Care applications. Was involved in the creation of MED-e-TEL, the International Educational & Networking Forum for eHealth, Telemedicine & Health ICT,taking place yearly in Luxembourg and acts as its Director.Was elected to the Board of the ISfTeH (International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth) in September 2003 as Treasurer, and re-elected in December 2007 and December 2012 as Secretary-Treasurer.
